Home... and working up the nerve to plunge back into both the Laundry and the Dragon*con sewing!

getting caught up...
so back in May, on our first attempt at seeing the USS Iowa towed out to sea under the Golden Gate...cpt_antilles and I decided to take advantage of the fact that we would be on the Presidio with a fair amount of time to kill and take some photos in our WWII uniforms. Onigiri!
Thinking about getting back into packing bento boxes, and feeling ready for tackling some Japanese cooking that's slightly more complex than Miso soup. Eventually I want to be able to make my own sushi, at least occasionally for fun.
