Okay, I have a question...

... which I will crosspost for obvious reasons.

What - assuming Starsky and Hutch are working with them on a case and become at least semi-friendly - would Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin call them? Hutch works, but surely not "Starsky"? For those of you familiar with both worlds, what do you think?

Why wouldn't Starsky work? I mean, I know I've only seen a few eps of MUNCLE, but I don't see them having a problem with references by last name.

Well, Napoleon and Illya pretty much call people they like by their first names, and of course they're going to like Starsky and Hutch. Hutch has a lovely ready made nickname, but "Starsky" just doesn't sound like them, once they get to know the guys. Plus they're a decade older ... I think I'm going to have to go with Ken and David. It'll be weird, but it's just not realistic for Napoleon and Illya to address them as "detective" or "sergeant" or their last names after they've worked together a bit.

It would be an interesting dynamic:)

Dave and Ken vs Starsky and Hutch

I'm really intrigued by this crossover. I love the concept of MUNCLE, so bringing that into the realm of SH sounds interesting.

It's a little awkward. I plan to fudge just a couple of years to keep it close to the right timeline without it being ridiculous to think of NS and IK still being allowed out in the field. :) Also, doing justice to both teams is proving to be an interesting challenge. Right now I'm so keen on S&H that I need to remember not to shortchange NS&IK, but I think I can get my brain back into that old MFU groove. :)
