We just finished watching the second season of Leverage - and we are on pins and needles for the next season to come out on DVD. Its such a damn good show. The season finale was very good - not only because it finally had both Sophie and Nate admitting that they actually needed each other, but the dynamic between Nate and Sterling is always ( Read more... )

This reminds me - I have books to return to you. And would love to borrow Side Jobs and All Clear whenever they might be available. :-)

And I really, really need to get caught up on all of my Buffy comics. I buy them faithfully, and haven't read a single one.

All clear is certainly available. I think Side Jobs might be, but I have to check with Charlie....I am sure it will be by the next meeting. At least if it at your house, the book return should be easier.

I am hoping that I will eventually re-read All clear and enjoy it much more if I do a reread of Blackout followed right away by all clear. I keep hoping that a large part of my muddle in the middle part is because it was too long since I read Blackout - I will like hear your take.

As for the Buffy comics, if you do find you are missing any, let me know, since I do have all the graphic novels that have been released thus far - I also have the Angel, season 5s (which have not actually caught up with Season 8, oddly, so it will be interesting when they do)

I totally agree with you about Side Jobs. I can hardly wait until April for the next book. :-)

..it will certainly be interesting. My theories are as follows:
*The Black Council/Hats are behind it
*He will be in heavy communication with Bob; and certainly seeing what is happening with the major living players
*Molly and Ebezener are in trouble (Molly because she is without protection from the DoD; Ebenezer because he played such a huge part in wiping out the Red Court and the Black Hats have figured out his relationship with Dresden)
*He will of course, solve his murder (Butcher has already said that is what the book is about), and come back to life with the help of the fae (he godmother has him now)
*Murphy will end up taking up the sword. Finally. The question is - who finds them first on the boat?

Good calls. I wonder if his daughter will make another appearance. Maybe further down the road.

Gawd, I hope so! Maybe his brother since it is his boat. Hrmmm... lots to think about.

I'm going to start the Nightside series by Simon R. Green soon. I've order some used copies for winter break. :-)

It is a good bet it can be Thomas, certainly - but Thomas first has to break away from laura and company (and I think both laura and thomas are going to be very unhappy about this development. Its bad enough to get Thomas unhappy. You really don't want to get Laura unhappy. I mean, how stupid are you? Not to mention pissing off Mab, who just got him to be her knight!)

The Nightside books are fun - just give yourself space between them or else the novelty may wear off. But it is a very interesting world, with some mighty fun characters!

Amazing, totally awesome. I am just getting into writing articles myself, nothing remotely close to your writing potential (ha!) but I'd love for you to take my stuff someday!
