Sora might or might not notice that Sephiroth is leaning almost tiredly against a gravestone. Most of the inscription is hidden by his body, but 'Ri' is visible between his arm and torso as he uses the device.]

That amount of noise is unnecessary. Riku is here. No doubt he will be picking you up shortly and giving you the relevant information to this world.

You should also be aware that I am not the same Sephiroth you may have encountered before.

[If he hadn't said anything Sora woulda jumped to all kinds of conclusions. The guy had said some pretty weird stuff back home. He couldn't forget that voice very easily. Not to mention holy crap was he difficult to fight. Either way he was on the fence between being rude and just reacting normally. He was tired, physically and emotionally, and all of this was preeeetty stressful. Of course, he didn't know about the graves.]

[He knows. Seriously. Sephiroth has been there and done that, the last time Sora was here, and it was annoying enough the first time. He didn't much like being told that he was "Cloud's Darkness".]

It's not an entirely uncommon reaction, but it's still uncomfortable for enhanced hearing.

[Sephiroth does not want to talk about the stone he's leaning on. Riku's stone. It's a very bad memory and would make Sora freak out again. He turns the PCD to point at a different stone: Sephiroth's own, with three sets of dates neatly carved into the stone and a guardian angel statue on top. Though the statue seems to be missing a wing...]

The Animus are toying with us. The gravestones are an event. They will be gone Sunday. Those we have lost, those we might lose... Even our own deaths are thrown in our faces.

Either way he frowns when he sees Sephiroth's headstone. Sure he was kinda scary back home, but that was still probably a terrible thing to experience.]

I think my biggest question is 'What are the Animus'? Because I don't get that and no one is explaining it well. They're just saying 'They're the Animus they control this place.' What does that even mean?
