Anyways, i feel like I'm turning into a robot because of this sat, and ap crap. That, along with trying to get a's, its like giving me no time to be creative and fun and original. This is NOT what school is supposed to focus on. Its making me conform into the mass of drones who will do whatever they can (even cheat) to get a's. The people who ( Read more... )

Three cheers for lida! I completely agree. Except i must say i've become one of those ppl who just tries to get by on the bare minimum and try to boost my grade at the end. But i hate how we dont do intersting shit anymore, and that's the only thing i'm looking foward to incollege.

yeah, most def agree...

the numbers (or in this case letters) don't lie, but they don't tell the whole story either. its not fair that we're judged based on a tiny letter on a piece of paper

Lida, I absolutely agree with you. School is not about learning. Its only about "making the A" and "getting ahead of everyone else." Unfortanuately, we live in a world where dishonesty often gets you further then the truth. Those who dont cheat and lie along with the rest are left behind. What can I say? Its a dog eat dog world out there! lol

Cant wait to hang out with ya after AP's!
XOXO,
Karen

Well that's exactly my point, the world ISNT like that (except for the ones who choose to make it that way for themselves). If you look at the most successful people in life, they're the ones who focused on their own strengths and interests, not someone else's.

You're sp right Lida! School is so annoying because I don't enjoy ANY of my classes. I feel like I'm being dragged to that building everyday and listen to the same boring crap everyday. If we have to learn, we should learn interesting stuff.
