Bacardi rums are usually really good. I never drank them straight but as the black label is one of the higher ones, I imagine you could drink it more straight. For me, as I have not had any hard liquor for some years now, I would probably just do rum in a pina colada. ;)

It was a lot of ice. I actually can't drink liquor straight any more -- it instantly sets my stomach on fire. Pooh on maturity.

There's something unexpected we have in common. I also had my first drink late. I was 29 and absolutely positive drinking was not against my moral code but didn't want to risk it just in case I was wrong. It was like jumping out of an airplane the first time I had a drink.

No sense rushing things! I also didn't get a driver's license or my first kiss until I was nearly 30. Didn't need them until then.
