well on the one hand they looked GREAT and the texture was awesome
on the other hand they tasted lame.... :) i'd rather baby a piece of dough for 2 days that contains _real_ butter.

so what'd you substitute for butter? was it margarine? i probably wouldn't even know the difference. i'll take them off your hands! ;)

i was supposed to be using margarine. but instead i used coconut butter.
big mistake -- it smelled SO great but the low smoking point made it a bitch to bake. and the taste was subpar.
i'd totally be willing to show you how to bake it when i go to new york :-D oh i'll be there in less than 48 hours!!!!
