Firstly - I love the picture, all the bright candles make the cemetary look so pretty! And the story behind it - very interesting. I knew that other countries have much more emphasis on the all souls idea than we do in the UK (even being a Catholic we don't have such a strong tradition) but this whole custom of taking food and celebrating in the cemetery was new to me.

I would be scared of visiting a cementery at night, but not on Nov. 2nd, that days is bright and full of laughter and family, I think I like it more thank Xmas!

Eeeee I have always wanted to see Winchesters in Mexico and this is such a cute execution. Their faces, hahahaha, oh boys! And awesome inclusion of this local festival. Great art! I love how totally packed the background is.

Winchesters in Mexico is fun to imagine for me, especially because it's THIS close to not be AU (cause really, you piss someone in Texas, the closest way John can run it towards Mexico)

You are so right! I am always eager for more Winchesters in Mexico. And the desert. And then there's that swamp island in Xochimilco near Mexico City, the island of the dolls? Ever since I heard about it I've been wanting casefic or art for it.

I too love the glow, and for me All Hallows Eve will always be a bout the candles and the people and the warmth of that celebration, however creepy that is. ^^;
