Well, those are just the legal options ^^; I could get paid under the table in my friend's bar if I went to Hiroshima, I just didn't want to bandy that about too much :P I wouldn't go over without SOME sort of job - I suck way too much at finding them for that ^^;
Yeah, my friend's from Miyagi. I'm not such a fan, buuuut...it'd be a way to get a visa, and I could change places after a month or something. Not the BEST way, but better than nothing :P Is it really two hours? Man >< I thought it was nearer Saitama. Is it really inaka? I always tease my friend that it's too inaka and small and I'll be bored :P But I'm just teasing really, as I have no idea what the place is like whatsoever.
Lol we probably are :P Well, I'd like to TRY hostessing someday, but I'm actually talking about actual bar work :P I think you can do barwork under a working holiday visa? I mean, no-one in the gaijin bars seems to get sent home or raided by police much ^^; I think also if you have a proper job they don't care too much about any second ones you might have. I'm currently wondering if it's illegal to 'volunteer', as if I get paid under the table they couldn't prove I'm getting paid... Hopefully May >< I WANT to but...visas take time ;_; Hence why I'm torn between best options vs fastest options :P Any suggestions on places to work would be great ;)
It does sound like the fun idea ;) My friend who owns the bar in Osaka says she could get me a job in one of her friend's bars too. Buuut it took one of my friends three months to get her working holiday visa approved >< I want to go over near the beginning of May... By the way, if you send me your bank details I can transfer that money to you :)
