I'm certainly open to info. (ave. living cost, etc...) it's actually been a place that i have been thinking about for some time now even before i knew that you were there. but You are there so i would call that a pretty major bonus, no? :) so, yeah- maybe email me a little bit of 'the scoop' then??? it would be so very much appriciated, other case
it's okay. calm down. actually, i wound up taking a room in royal oak for now so i've got some time yet :) (AND i'm closer to ya! well, as of sunday or so)
ever thought about alaska? i know it sounds krazy but i just moved here and its pretty cool. the most beautiful mountains outside of colorado...along the coast are immaculate forsests. above all is that most of the state is untouched by people. Decent amount of hippies - although they are alaskan hippies not quite the same as pacific northwest hippies...Homer is the hippie central of alaska, but there are alot of them elsewhere...no state tax and you get paid the state dividend every year just for living here...~1500. wages are higher here than most western states, especially any type of government job (not that You would want one of those). expenses are about 20% higher than other states but wages are about twice for many jobs. people are nicer. definantly nicer. especially outside the anchorage area. ive spent time in seattle which is cool, but the people are much more down to earth here. more involved in local politics. alot of wildlife here...moose, foxes, wolves, geese, bears, porcupines...just driving you see them all the time...

ooo alaska. as a child that was my main goal. alaska and greece. :) alaska is definitely a place that i would like to spend some time in, though currently i don't think i have the means to do such. personally, i find the many months of light and/or darkness quite a wonderful perspective experience and greatly look forward to it. as far as nature goes- if there is not an abundance to be found close at hand then you will not find me :) and the cold certainly doesn't bother me much. anyhow, you've managed to peak my interest in more more ways than one... who Is this anonymous person? when will i plan to visit alaska, anyhow? well, thanks for the info! flagstaff, eh? ;)

there is more of an abundance of nature then anywhere ive been...and ive traveled thru most of the states. i wish i could tell you definantly that this was the place for you but the answer wont come to me...i think though that you wouldve liked flag too...its just kinda economically in the crapper...too many students, limited jobs, and alot of natives that are willing to work for min. wage...and with a 10% or more higher living cost than phoenix...kinda hard to find good work...unless your one of those kids with a free ride thru college who only needs beer money. it was pretty and while hiking i saw deer, elk, and coyotes...but city was slowly encroaching on them. not so much here in alaska. its too big. anyways, if you can guess who i am, then maybe sometime we can figure a way for you to come up and visit. take care "everything is everything, which is nothing" lady.
