Watched Serenity with the folks last week and my stepdad just didn't get it.  That was really sad, but I was thinking maybe if I got him the series, it might work better for him.  Well, tonight I found the series at Wal-Mart for like $19.99, so it was soooooooo awesome.  However, my mom said not to get it for Lonnie, so it is mine mine mine.

I can understand that - I only watched one or two episodes from the series and probably wouldn't understand most of the movie, either.

I made my folks sit down and watch it with me. First, I had a captive niece (she was spending the night) and she loved it. Said it was one of the best movies ever. But that is probably as far as it will go for her. I made my parents watch (yes, I sit around and watch stuff with my folks). My mom got into it and enjoyed it but my dad fell asleep- I know, imagine! However, that is his typical involvement in movies. I am not sure I got mom addicted but she said she would watch some of the eps with me. I can only hope. Addiction is only fun when you get others addicted!

Firefly for $20!!! I can't believe it! I wonder if our Wal-Mart has it that cheap....
