Nah, primary care physcian. Just found out FDA will no longer be approving albuterol which is what I take for my asthma so time for something new. Plus it's time for the all important flu shot. /end gripe

NOOOO!! Not approve albuterol?? Is it because of the propellant? M. takes albuterol too for rescue. I'm getting my flu shot 10/27.

Basically it's ozone depleting and Clean Air act stuff. Clicky here for all details: http://www.fda.gov/cder/mdi/mdifaqs.htm. But in a nutshell by 2008 all metered dose inhalers are gone. They recommend Proventil and Ventolin as replacements whilst acknowlging the considerable price increase $20+ they seem to be pushing for coupons, giveaways, patient assitance programs, etc.
