I'm going to shorten this because if I get into the inequities of capital punishment we could be here all day.... It all comes down to what you said "If more people chose to love, it would be a much more peaceful world." A good symbol of this is when you were youger and you would get into fist fights with your younger siblings over stupid things, and your parents told you to be the bigger person because you were older, wiser, and should know better. Well, the government is the older sibling in this equation and the soul on death row is the younger sibling. If those who feel that they can be the judge over the lives of others, would solve these isues without violence than there would hopefully be a rift in the cycle of violence.
