Yep, anarchy is pretty much over-the-top. Good for thought and not much else. I won't agree that complacence is a good thing, but I suppose being satisfied is what's important in the end ...

Having a trunk is sweet. Mad space for bodies.

Some people will always lead, some people will always follow, and some people will always be corrupt. We need laws and law enforcement as a deterrent for people doing whatever they want, such as breaking the most serious of the commandments. "Don't kill people!" "Fuck you, there's nothing anybody can do about it!" "You fucker, you killed my brother!" And so on. Eventually there wouldn't be too many people left.

Sometimes people will tell you to do things that you don't want to do, but is for the greater good, either the greater good of yourself, or the greater good of society/humanity. Parents telling you to go to bed when you're little, for example. You don't want to, but you should (although you don't know it at the time), and you follow their authority because they have power over you.

And of course there's the obligitory quote from a famous dead person...

Democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried. - Winston Churchill
