[Pauses with his hand poised above the door, knuckles hovering for just a few seconds before he brings them down, rapping sharply, nervously- twice.]

Yeah, I'm coming! What d'you want now?

[And you can probably hear quick footsteps from inside, and how he turns the key in the door, and then another one, the door cracking slightly open.]

[Holding his breath, just a little, and decidedly not looking you in the eye.]

...hello, Poland.

Liet? What're you doing here?

[And the door will swing open for you, though you can probably notice how his eyes will search over the garden in front of his house, clearly expecting someone else to be there. Not really nervous, as much as cautious though.]

[Nope, he's actually alone for once. His left hand's holding onto three thick folders filled with paper, though, a pen tucked under his index finger.]

A-ah. It's for business, I'm afraid.

That's not why I wasn't sure about staying, Poland.

Well, I don't feel like talking about that. So let's get something to eat okay?

[And hurrying away ahead of you, but not enough to disappear out of sight.]

[ITT: Redocorating are a go.]

So you can, like, get those up yourself, right?

It shouldn't be too hard. What are you going to do?

polemyname June 18 2009, 13:41:28 UTC
Well, we walked like tons to find the right ones, so I'm totally busted, so I'm just gonna watch and make sure you do it, like, right.

You could help a little, you know.

[Getting the curtains out and laying them flat to smooth out the wrinkles.]

[It was probably forever I ate something with you, and it was damn good. Might cast worried glances at the paperwork that is still lying on the table though. Because, do not want.]

You should, like, come over and cook every day.

[Clearing away the dishes, now.]

[Of course you're going to, I set the table after all.]

You're seriously kinda weird that wants that, y'know. It's not like we'll ever be able to share a house again.

[Possibly, he's had a bit too much- because he's walking with the exaggerated care of someone trying not to act drunk, and he has to peer down the street in both directions before taking the right turn toward your place.]

It's this way, right?

polemyname July 9 2009, 14:52:18 UTC
Yeah, it's still, like, in the same place, y'know. When things went down... you know my people are totally awesome, right? Cuz they stole back the city-maps-plans things, so I totally knew where everything was even if it was gone. So even if stuff are different, it's still the same, you get it? And you so got here in the first place, so it's fine! Oh, and, like, next to the right.

[Walking a few steps behind you, still in a pleasant buzz and not doing any attempts to mask it. He keeps getting distracted and peering up at the night sky above.]

[Frowns just a little, trying to puzzle that out, before turning again where you've indicated.]

So it's- it's still the same even if it's different?

Yeah, stuff is in the same place, y'know. Even if things look different, cuz I couldn't afford to make it exactly the same. So it'd get totally easier if you just closed your eyes and walked.
