I'm kind of in a bad mood right now because I've tried twice this week to visit a coin store to find that they are unexpectedly closed. Seems the proprietors would rather go for a walk and enjoy their retirement than take my money. Most shops now seem to be just open 9-5 weekdays, except some are closed on Mondays, some on Fridays and most are lax ( Read more... )

I have a collection I mainly got from my brother. I've since been shaping it up. My favorite coins are: a 1821 British crown, a 1820 Russian Rouble, a 1799 French Cinq sous, an 1812 dime and a 1857 flying eagle cent. Oddly, I'm trying to collect a set of Canadian nickels if you're into swapping.
