You probably won't find a powerful analog synth in the local ads or at a garage sale. Arps are under glass and Moogs are just about to ascend bodily into Heaven. Almost everyone in possession of an Oberheim 8-voice or Yamaha CS80 knows what they have and what it fetches on the electronic market ( Read more... )

Hey, I have a Casio CZ-5000 to give away if you are interested. It is in a quasi-functional state--for some strange reason, the circuit keeps resetting to Midi channel 1 while it is being used, and also, the tuning goes way off while it is being played. I don't think I'm going to get this fixed, but if you are interested, it is all yours. :)

Yes! I can totally use that. It probably has some deep logic problems, but I have a working CZ-5000 that just needs some parts.
