Leonard McCoy was slouched back into his arm chair, a glass of bourbon balanced on the arm, and a plate of the crumbs of home made peach cobbler seated on his torso. He let out a content sigh as he propped his feet up on the coffee table, and glanced at his companion. “So, still think I was just braggin’ about real Georgia peaches superiority Scotty?”

A pleased groan met his inquiry, as Montgomery Scott shoveled another bite of peach cobbler into his mouth from his sprawled out position on his couch. “I think I’ve underestimated yer motherland’s food. Now ye’ve gotta try something from Scotland ye know. Tae even things out.”

“Scotty, I’ll eat anything but haggis. As a doctor I can’t eat some creatures organs all stuffed together, it can’t be health.”

Scotty glared at him as he took a sip of his Scotch. “Oi, see ‘ere now, we eat more’n just haggis. Seein’ as ye shared a dessert from Georgia, I’ll share one from good ol’ Scotland. I’ll make ye some Trifle when I can get a hold o' the ingredients.”

“…trifle?”

“‘S a dessert made o' custard, fruit, sponge cake, gelatin, an’ whipped cream. ‘S delicious,”

“…when d’you think you can get those ingredients Scotty?”

“Prob’bly next shore leave. How ‘bout we do this again then, the Sunday o’ that shore leave?”

“Sounds like a plan to me. Now eat the rest of your cobbler or pass it here.”
