Corpse Bride and The New World look good too. And some that you listed I hadn't heard of, but they sound very interesting.

LWW = The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe life_boy August 4 2005, 03:43:31 UTC
Yeah, they were way cheesy. But I watched it when I was little because I wanted to see the story on film. But I was always a little disappointed by it.

My trepidation over LWW really has more to do with the massive CGIification of every story that might reach a mass audience after LOTR. I had my fears before LOTR also, but thankfully they lived up to the hype and the promise and they delivered three great films. But LWW's in-your-face-kitchen-sink trailer scares me big time. Of course, trailers have no shame and more often than not disinterest me in films as opposed to interesting me. I hate watching them. I hate it! All it takes is a trailer for me to decide I definately will not see a film. I might have actually had a chance of seeing Fantastic Four had I not heard the "You're hot" "Why thank you, so are you!" line before Star Wars, Batman and War of the Worlds! There's so many trailer cliches that bug me but I'll save it for a rant that I'll most likely post after my next trip to the theaters.
