Oh, thank you, thank you, this was exactly what I wanted and then some! A wonderful mixture of sweet and sad and hilarious from start to finish (the idea of Naboo sending them on an employee bonding weekend is pure genius, and I LOVE your last line!) with a lovely happy ending... I don't suppose you can be persuaded to write a follow-up, if Concupid and I both bang our sticks on the floor very loudly? Sleeping-bag snuggles are something we can never have too much of!

The moment where Howard pressed button 2 is an absolute heartbreaker (the message that never got sent is perfectly in-character) and I cheered when Vince finally stood up to Howard and told him a few home truths. All the banter is just brilliant. And the idea of getting Naboo a pack of Resolve as a present is completely perfect - they know him well enough to know that he'll have a blinder of a hangover by the time they get home...

Yay, I'm so glad you liked it! Especially the banter - I was worried I would be a bit rusty on the banter (because Sherlock and John don't banter, the fools) so I'm really happy it came out ok.

Start to finish, it is sweet, sad, in-character, charming, funny, clever and right at the end it gets pretty hot... You have such a skill with your restricted POV. I've commented on it before but I think it bears repeating. You do a beautiful job of getting Vince's feelings accross without using his POV and - as fanfic reader and writer - that is a skill I truly admire.
