Oh, this is lovely - a very effective extended metaphor that catches the way Vince in particular changes as they move from the Zooniverse to the Nabootique, and the inevitability of passing time. And then they find each other, and 'the backdrop begins to change, but the story doesn't'... and we get this sweet little glimpse of them, older, but still just as much in love and still up for adventures even though they don't happen as frequently these days.

A fantastic gift and one that is very much appreciated. Real life is being a bit pants right now and I need lots of stories to escape into, so thank you!

The moon stops talking to him. Perfect, flawless, heart-wrenching, gaaaaaaaaah.
