Oh. Oh. OH. I... I'm having a lot of thoughts and suspicions right now, and you might have broken my brain in a very good way! I'm trying not to think overmuch about the fact that this might easily explain the contradictory, constantly shifting backstories from canon, but it's hard not to wonder! Especially given the absence of the watch from Vince's wrist (!!!), and the fact that he seems to have genuinely have as little concept of their history as Howard does (which Naboo did warn him might happen)... and, you know, the fact that Vince SAID that if Howard wants to stay, then he's determined to stay with him, which is a sentiment that is at once heartbreaking and beautiful--and scary, because are they really lost in there for good?!? (Have they always been lost in there? Is this them coming full-circle? So many possibilities

What a brilliant chapter - I'm finally catching up with my Christmas reading... Oh, Vince. I'm so worried about him. He seems almost to have given up and accepted that he might be stuck here forever because that's where Howard is. You can't leave them like this, you just can't... *rushes off to next chapter*
