I've been trying to come up with a post that will describe all my feelings, but I've been completely unsuccessful. All I can say is your story is absolutely perfect and wonderful and beautiful and I enjoyed reading it so much. More or less what jolieperruche said! I love this chapter... well, OK, I've loved all of them but this one is particularly wonderful. Just the right balance of sweet, sad and funny. The story about the Saturn Zingers should definitely be canon. And then Vince getting worried that if Howard remembers everything, he'll get paranoid and leave, and Vince would do anything to avoid that, even suppressing his feelings... The declaration at the end is beautifully paced and your characterisation is spot-on. No, they are never going to be the same, but they are going to be together, so anything else is unimportant.
