haven't had a good rant about random shit in a while.
why is it that everyone looks for guidence and advice from outside sources. It's terrible that people have such shitty trust issues that they can't even trust themselves and can't be completely honest with EVEN THEMSELVES. If you could though... you could find more answers to your problems within yourself, and they would most likely be the right ones. granted we not be able to consciencely know everything. but when it comes down to it. we all know what is right and what is wrong. we know what is good and what is bad... we just cannot pass judgement on such things unless we know EVERYTHING about the subject at hand.
it pisses me off that people look to the law for morality when it best suites their argument. Even more so that everytime they do this they have no further support to back why their morals are so right. But when they discuss politics they ALWAYS seem to disagree with some law... right? Sure there's a reason why laws were made... and a lot of times there's some great support behind why that law is right. but if you don not understand that then don't use it.
ya know what else pisses me off, generalizations. everyone thinks racism is sooo bad... same thing, it really is. just with america's history and all.. people are all like "ooh racism is bad" (sometimes this goes back to the law thing. yeah racist crimes ARE bad... but why? why do you dumb fucks really think so?) i fit into a variety of categorigies where i sometimes live up to that stereotype. theres a reason stereotyping came to be. I make generalized statements all the time, usually in a joking manner though and i crack plenty of racist jokes that essentially are generalized statements (but funny ones). but i don't intend my words to be taken literally as if they are some kind of fact. they are not... there are ALWAYS exceptions (possibly even to that statement).
another thing that pisses me off. when people tell me "you can't change that" "you have no control over that" when its reference to myself. ( ei. what i can or can not do, the way my life is gonna be) fuck that i can change my life to be however i want it to be. I mean i don't have any intentions of planing my life out a certain way for various reasons. but deterimination & will are some powerful motherfuckers. and the law... yeah its there & there are law enforcers... but who's to say i can't break it. if someone really wants to kill someone else they CAN do it. adn people CAN get away with it. the world is overflowing with possibilities... i personally beleive people CAN do anything. so don't me i can't control somethime if i realllllly want to or i can't change the way my life if gonna be. fuck fate... i choose my own fate.
maybe i can't have control over everything IN my life... but i can have control over everything i do in my life, and that can affect a lot.
