I think seeing Patti Smith performing live few days ago was the most surreal show-going experience. I was in awe the entire time I stood in front of this woman who is legendary in her own right. She's still got what she had in the 70's. This woman have soul when she performs - in every way that is punk rock.

I loved Donnie Darko because it was nothing like I'd seen before. So obscure and confusing, in a way, but I guess it just filled me with emptiness. However, I love depressing movies (i.e. Requiem for a Dream) and thought it was very well made. It had a couple of gaps in the plot that weren't explained or concluded thoroughly enough, but I was still satisfied.

P.S. I love Donnie Darko because it's a great movie, the normalicy hidden under a strange supernatural effect. I like mysteries too, and the time travel thing was interesting. Oh and Jake Gyllenhaal is a hottie, so that makes Donnie a sexy-mental patient...
