does any one live in or know the portland area well? i am thinking of possibly moving there but am having a hard time picturing where apartments and homes and places of employment are located. any help would be GREAT!
I don't honestly know Portland, though it was recommended to me as a great place to live and a lot of people I know who live there love it. If it's anything like Seattle, it's probably awesome. Other than that, I've got nothing helpful to say. ^_^;
I don't actually spend a lot of time in Seattle, though I have gathered it is apparently a nightmare to drive in, but the time I have spent there has impressed me. With luck and monetary supply being sufficient with whatever job I get, I'll be living in one of the neighborhoods in Seattle by the end of the year. Though this is more to be close to a dear friend, with the wish to know the city better being a secondary concern; the thought of living there had crossed my mind before, but without any real impetuous to follow through. Either way, I need to move out into my own place since I currently occupy space in my friend's apartment where she lives with her husband and two year old. Rambly tmi...so I'll hush now.
