I love how the college republicans feel the need to go out of their way to be offensive.
I'm also really glad I didn't actually witness this cause um...yeah.

well, what was offensive was the fact that the only reason to do something like that is to offend. eating meat has nothing to do with being republican. and yes, some of the things animal activist groups do are also offensive, but asking someone to pledge vegetarian for a day isn't one of them. there are about 15 places on our campus where you can get meat..."reacting" to a day where there were extra vegetarian options in our cafeteria is completely unnecessary.

I guess so.
Nobody seemed to display any signs of having taken offense to a table of 3 or so people with educational pamphlets on animal rights. Though, if they had been say...throwing paint at people in fur or tacking up pictures of animal carcasses, I'm sure that would be different. Let them eat all the meat they want, that isn't what anyone cares about. It was their intent and execution of the "event."

I KNOW, I read it an it was ridiculous. WHY would they do such a thing? I love the quote that was all like "We understand what its like to be a minority" or whatev.... because that is the best reason for them to NOT attack vegetarians.

Also, David Bezaquen... haha I can't imagine what that confrontation was like..

i think this is hilariously ignorant. i would say that the great majority of people who abstain from meat eating do so because of certain environmental and health reasons. who thinks it's cool to eat food that has been pumped full of steroids and antibiotics just because its a "controversial" opion to have?
lets hope these people dont reproduce.
they can also suck a fat dick.

also lets thank all the young MEN for putting those blue and pink flags out on our quad this mornring. why arent the transgenered babies being represented is what i want to know. 1 in 300, guys.
