honestly, corsetry REALLY isnt as difficult as people seem to think it is. i have pretty limited sewing abilities, and after a few practice runs with cheap-o muslin (what you use to line it anyway in the middle, so you can use a practice one as a liner!)... i was able to make a relatively simplistic one myself! i used some cheap-o boning, which doesnt work for ME, as i need well... support. but it could TOTALY be done. and gromet punchers arent too expensive, and bonus: a good one will last you for EVER.

hmm. using a practice one as a liner is a really good idea, since my sewing projects tend to go horribly wrong right when they're about to be completed. did you buy a pattern or did you make your own?
