Two Things.

I...well...fuck.
So. Firs things first. Smock. Lame death. Shot by Kate? Who decided that was a stellar idea? Whoever it is should end up in the same way as Smock, that is at the bottom of the ocean after having been shot by the lamest person ever and then pushed over the side of a large cliff.
The ending explains the beginning when the island is under water - it's them burying it and moving on even though its impact on them is tremendous (as seen by the plane lurching etc.)
Kate/Claire. The only pairing I support with Kate. I never got attached to Charlie so I don't really care much about him.
DESMOND YOU SNEAKY BASTARD.
And Daniel Widmore doesn't sound as good as Daniel Faraday. Just saying. And I preferred him as a crazy mathematician. Besides, nothing will ever undo his death scene at the whole "you are his mother" thing that happened after wards. Shit man.
Ben at the end, I'm glad he didn't go with the Oceanic people. He was there before them and there after them and he was always an Other no matter which way you swing it. He'll move on in his own way and own time. Besides you can't swing a dead cat in Lost-verse without hitting Ben.
Ben and Hurley make the most epic Team!Win for protecting the island. They're going to have Star Wars marathons and it will be great. Desmond can join too.
Still curious about Richard, my eye-liner-wearing-torch-bearing love. I'm sure he found a nice Spanish woman to marry and learned to move on because hanging onto a dead love for hundreds of years means you have ISSUES.
Maybe Ben just wants to get with Danielle and have a family for a bit before he moves on since he never got to have that and that's all he ever really wanted.
In the end i suppose I'm happy with how everything turned out. The ending made me smile with the plane and Jack's eyes closing instead of opening (parallel to the pilot episode -lol-).
The plane? The next group, I bet. Or them. Maybe it was Oceanic 815 moving on. Who knows.
