ok...well...I don't really have much to say. I never really got why a new year is anything special. It doesn't feel any different, and I don't feel like it's a new beginning. To me, it is just a hassle, because for the next month I will keep putting the wrong year when I date my papers

Not for me either. But I still made a post saying HAPPY NEW YEAR! in a giant font, because I like excuses to make posts in giant fonts. Wheee!

The real reason I decided to wait until my birthday to make one of those "year review" posts was because I couldn't be assed to make a big thoughtful one when it didn't really feel like much has changed. *glances around*

I know the feeling... I just had my birthday, though, so I suppose I could do an assesment of my year...maybe I will tomorrow...

My year was not great I guess -- seeing as how I got kicked out of my job by a psychopath. And yet, sadly, that didn't make it a markedly bad year. I've had worse. But I understand this year will be fabulous. The Farmer's Almanac guaranties it. So happy new year back!
