Glasses. I feel really different when I wear them. I feel as if I have been transported back to when I was eleven years old, the last time I wore glasses everyday. In my sweatpants. Long flowing rat tail. Probably have a couple reptiles in my room

I've gotten away from wearing my contacts to the point that I can only wear them a couple hours at a time if I do try.

I could build my tolerance back up if I wanted, but they're such a hassle and the solutions are so expensive, so I've been wearing my glasses.

We went to the Planned Parenthood bookfair, and one of the people who have never seen me with glasses, but who doesn't remember that that's it, told me I looked like I'd been ill and needed to have stayed in bed. I really had to laugh.
