I miss you already...

One of the things that I will miss about my daily Soy Mocha is the big SM written on the side of my cup. I want to order a triple shot sometimes just so it will say XXX SM.

Goodbye sweet mocha...I love you too much...

Caffeine + sugar = not the best combo for my health. its like a legal speedball. I don't want to be like Richard Pryor and have it blow up in my face.

The date was, um, interesting. This entry is not locked and the ex (Hi!) and I have agreed to be kind and keep each other out for now. I need to start a specific dating filter. Don't worry you are on the list.

Were you being sarcastic? or seriously mournful? I guess it doesn't much matter...except for the way in which *I* read your post.

As someone who is learning to feed my body in healthier ways, I have been forced to say "goodbye" to certain food items (like cheese and most dairy, for example) because their effect on my system is way too negative. With these changes has come mourning and sadness. And that is how I read your post, from the vantage point of someone who is learning to "grow up" and be more responsible for her health - physical, emotional, spiritual.

Good for you for letting go of the Soy Mochas. May the road be as pleasant as it can be.

My mourning is serious, even though i crack jokes all the way through to deal with my pain. Latte-less today. Might have some green tea...which I like without sugar!

My body doesn't react well to alcohol, and it has never been a problem for me to keep my distance...but sugar, chocolate, and (when I get started) caffeine are so difficult for me. I know that if I cold turkey the sugar for even a few days, my cravings subside (some).

Strawberry season has begun! I am allowing fruit sugar for now...but I go through phases of stopping all sugar to kick the cravings.

Yep...personal responsibility...that is what I continue to work on.

Good for you, too!!

xo
