Today was a very busy day off. Did 3.5 miles at the gym this morning, scored a $1 sandwich at Jimmy John's (they were having a 1 day promo...I've never been there before but it was good. They had a very limited selection that Ainan and I could eat, though, since neither of us is eating meat at the mo), went to the central library for some research

I've been wanting to go back to the Houston Zoo for months. I should drag someone with me some weekend before it gets hideously hot. I haven't been since college!

There were lions and tigers! I love the big cats. My very favorite part of the zoo. (And the elephants and giraffes.)

That rhino brings back scary memories.

And birds. *shudders*

I love zoos. Were I an animal I would want to be fed and pampered and not have to worry about other animals killing me.

Awww. We have 3 bears (that sounds like a fairy tale), but I have old pics of them so I didn't take any this time around.

awww I remember going there when i was very little...and pretending it was a zoo :P
