The bathroom is not finished. I have tonight finished gluing the tiles to the floor everywhere except the secondary sink area. I expect that will take another three hours. But we're progressing.

We are headed to TRF now. Apologies to anyone we didn't communicate with well. The trip had been planned for a while, but so much other stuff has happened recently.

I found this linked on 8 bit theatre (http://www.nuklearpower.com/). It's about 5 minutes, and it's worth every second. The woman is articulate and expressive, and her comments are enlightening. After watching this, I think the current bailout plans are probably flawed.

Yesterday saw the A/C fixed, which was immediately followed by laundry and vacuuming. That was interrupted by the vacuum pump saying, "No, I don't want to most of the way through." The A/C is supposed to be back up and working now at our place. We're here, and the air coming out seems cooler, so hopefully the installation went well.

I've finally started running a D&D game after three years of absence. I'm still looking forward to more GURPS, too, but as a player. I'm using livejournal to communicate about the game, which is very new for me (things like setting up meeting times and post-session comments from everyone).
