[ a part of him was excited to leave simply because he had been stuck in the faculty office with Pin for hours. he could have been home by now or even better: hanging out with friends or doing something entertaining that didn't involve listening to someone you didn't quite like talk about the same things over and over again. a part of him was disappointed, though. if Pin didn't take him away the moment the bell rung, he could have gotten his chance to hang out with Sawako for the entire afternoon. it didn't seem like she had plans, so of course he'd want to jump at every chance to get her for himself. it was too late, though. it was starting to get dark and he was positive she went home by now.
with an obvious frown upon his lips, he zipped his shoulder bag close as he was getting ready to leave. however, there was a sight outside of the window that has caught his attention. Kazehaya would recognize that head full of black hair anywhere. it was a generic hairstyle, but if it was her, he'd notice her from a mile away. he stood there for a moment, feeling incredibly lucky as happiness began to fill him to the brim. the frown that was there a moment ago turned upside down as he rushed out of the classroom. he could hear his quickened footsteps echo throughout the building as the tempo of his beating heart was even faster than that. if he had to put up with Pin's nonsensical stories just to see her afterward, he'd gladly do so - over and over again.
reaching the door, he pushed them open as he quickly made his way to where she was found. upon realizing that she was still there, he tried to catch his breath as he finally called out to her. ]
Kuronuma!
[ he was very happy - his heart might as well just burst right out of his chest. ]
