3. You will make a great nurse. You will raise all the patients' spirits by telling them stories of other patients who recovered even though they'd lost both legs, an arm, and most of the left side of their torso, so they'll be just shiny too.
4. My mom's a huge historical fiction fan. I think Elizabeth Chadwick is one of her current favorites.
re 1: Hehe, well, you've been lots of places I haven't been, e.g America! I want to go to America, there is so much food there I want to eat! Still, at least we've got oreos here now. I remember when you gave me my first oreo, it was an epiphany for me...
re 2: Yes we should! But only in nice, warm, tropical waters with pretty fishies. No cold water for me. No sirree.
re 3: Awww thankies. I hope I can be good at it and help people get better.
re 4: Elizabeth Chadwick? Thankyou, I shall go searchy amazon right now (well, not right now, but when i've finished replying...)
re 5: Yes thankyou, I am shiny shiny and glad to hear that you are shiny too. :)
Oh, Phillipa Gregory. I've never quite forgiven her for Virgin Soil: there was not nearly as much gay sex as was advertised! I suggest you read Wesley Stace's Misfortune because I am sure you will appreciate the hilarity of playing cricket in a Victorian-era gown.
And, haha! *taunts* I am certified to dive to 40m! And also to dive shipwrecks. But I have not been to Thailand. So I suppose it balances out and no one has to be jealous?
Well that does sound appalling, if one is advertising a lot of gay sex then a lot of gay sex there should be, I don't blame you for not forgiving her. I've not read that one though, just been working my way through the Tudor Court series, Anne Boleyn and Katherine of Aragon were always some of my favourite characters in English history so it was fun to see them brought to life.
Ooh 40m! We had the option of doing the advanced course afterwards to get us down there, but it was near the end of the holiday and the budget wasn't looking so shiny by that point... heh. Did you get that nitrogen narcosis thing they talk about? Our instructor was telling us about how people get kinda drunk and do daft things like try give their regulator to the fish. What's shipwreck diving like?! That sounds fantastic, did you see anything amazing?
