It was 02:27 (MEZ) when I looked at the clock and realized that I've just finished reading the last words of the Harry Potter-saga.
First of all: yes, I liked the very last HP-book. It was different, though, but by no means worse than the other ones.
In the beginning it was weird that they story didn't take place at Hogwarts, but we knew that before, but it was weird, though.
The death of Mad-Eye wasn't that sad or so ... I mean, he wasn't really a character I loved or so. I was shocked by Lupin and Tonks deaths most ... both ... after having a child! JKR, that was really cruel, I must say.
Harry's "last walk" was so amazingly written. Just like a "dead man walking" and he finally was mature enough to face his "death".
In my mind, Snape shouldn't have died, but I'm glad that he left Harry his memories and by them showed them the "real" Snape. Anyway, there was way to less Snape in the last book, I missed it! His death was a little bit too short, but the memories made that up easily.
I don't know what to write more ... honestly my mind's got a little bit overkilled, there was so much happening in the last book.
The epilogue was great ... but nothing more to say to that. Long live Harry Potter!
