Basically we're looking to muster as many of our respective clans and crews as is possible for feasting and revels. I'm personally not dead fixed on any particular type of restauraunt, just so long as it has good food, is open on the day, and can hold a group of, say, 10-15.
I lived in Waltham for a number of years and ate out a good deal; there are tons of good restaurants around, especially down on Moody Street. A couple of my personal faves, for your consideration:
Italian - The Chateau. Unpretentious and hearty, with red sauce galore. Brewpub - Watch City Brewery. Fine pub-grub and good-quality beer. Indian - Bombay Mahal. There are 3 or 4 Indian joints on Moody; I found this one to be the best combo of taste, service and price. Tex-Mex - Margaritas. Reliable, tasty, and affordable.
But really, it depends on what cuisine you're in the mood for; if all else fails, walk for a few blocks and see what strikes your fancy... :^)
