For those of you who are my brethren in spectacledom, you understand how surreal it is when, after years of not knowing exactly how bad your eyes were but just knowing that they weren't what they used

I'd been wondering how your job was going. I'm glad things are working out well for you. I remember that you were thinking of publishing your MS thesis, any word on that? :)

As for the glasses thing, I vaguely remember being 5 and getting my first pair of glasses. The world was suddenly sharper, and things were easy to see and read. Good job they have nicer frames nowadays though!

The publication is slow going, but still in the works. I went back and edited the other two MSS that were also in the BL. So all the grunt work on the three are pretty much done. All that' s really left now is introductory chapters. I admit I haven't done too much with it lately having been bogged down with RA stuff. But I do plan to go through with it. My plan is to start pitching it to publishers at Kalamazoo this year. Even if it's not done, I can still give them samples and such.
