Yesterday I emailed my roommate Megan since we have less than 2 weeks left and we only talked once. She said that her and Allison are going to Boston tomorrow to check out our room. Then she'll email me. She seems nice so far. Anyway...she's bringing couches so if Sarah and Karen want to hide from their roommates they can come to my room.

I just got back from my family vacation. First we went to Syracuse to see ESF, which is the college of Environmental Science and Forestry. Today was the last day of camp. I really really want to go back next year, but we have stupid CO-OP. So today we had a waterfront all-camp. Aqua did most of the planning. I'm in Willis room 203. Right down the floor from Sarah and Karen. And my roommate...IS FROM NANUET!!!!!!!!! For those of you who do not know...Nanuet is about 15-20 minutes from my house. I can't believe that my roommate lives a couple of towns over. That is the weirdest thing ever.

So week 2 is over. This has been a crazy two weeks at CAB (Camp Addisone Boyce). My fellow lifeguards are really crazy. Steven brought a radio in because Bonnie kept forgetting. WOW, so the first week of camp is almost over. This week hasn't been so fun. The fun kids didn't come this week. So far, camp is ----. I can't even think of a word to describe it. First of all, we have bats. Lots and lots of bats. Apparently Klegg Hall (the main building in camp w/the dining hall) has always had bat colonies in the walls. ( Read more... )

I made it through the first week of pre-camp. It was weird being separated from the rest of the staff. Us lifeguards were there Monday through Thursday and the rest of the staff Wednesday through Saturday. This year should be really fun. Almost all of the staff is return staff, which is really weird. I got my Harry Potter book. I asked my mom if we could go to the midnight party thing at Barnes & Noble. She said no, but I didn't really care because I wasn't planning on going anyway.
