The beauty of egrets

Egrets like me. For some reason, I see them everywhere. I even saw one in the middle of a field in the foothills while watching the lunar eclipse. He got up and flew across the harvest moon about halfway through the eclipse

I love birds too. I don't get to see many egrets though. One of these days I will find a place where I can work with the birds of prey. Then I will be totally happy!

One of my great regrets from college is that I didn't take the time to volunteer at the raptor center there. I was busy raising and selling parrots at the time. But still... working with hawks and owls would have been so cool.
