I didn't. I decided to vent here. I tend to find that being nice and sweet works better with these folks. Then I try to get my client to come at them with the guilt and force. And, if that doesn't work, I'm covered by copyright law, so I send a letter to their lawyer, and usually have a check in less than a week.

Its always the same for small business. We had an annual invoice ( a biggy) last month that was sent to the wrong account, then had to be sent back, then paid again into the right account. It all took 6 weeks, and that was on top of a 90 day invoice clearance.

To these big companies its chump change, to us SME's its life or death..

Hubby is currently upstair chasing another late payer..

Hope it gets sorted out - just remember doing what you love is the important thing ;)

They seem to think that we can afford to finance their companies. When I used to work inside a corporation, I always told the accounting people the same thing, "Imagine if you had to go an extra two weeks or month without your paycheck..." Then it becomes personal, and they feel bad about not getting people paid.
