We don't mean to get sidetracked; it just happens. For example, like when I am going to the craft store to buy a deckle and mould, I will return with $55 worth of things like containers for the pantry*, card stock, stencils and gold paint for decorating baby shower invitation cards, and chocolate moulds.

I never saw the BSC movie, but I owned (still own, possibly, in a box in the closet) all of the VHS episodes and LOVED them. My favourite book in the series was actually a superspecial - the one where they went on the cruise. I liked that every chapter was from a different sitter/kid's perspective.

The fact that *Gully* read BSC is too, too entertaining.

Oh I loved the cruise one too! And also the superspecial where they went to New Jersey I think. I liked most of the super specials.

There were episodes?!?! Oh I need to get my hands on these!

I think we had 6 or 7 tapes, and there were 2 episodes to a tape, if I recall correctly. It looks like Amazon lists 8 or 9? It was a different cast than what they ended up using in the movie (and honestly, I liked the girls in the series a little better than the movie actors). They were a lot of fun. Also, I still get the song stuck in my head.

I have a "Babysitters Club" board game at home (my family's home). We also have "Sweet Valley High." Both are equally enthralling.

I remember seeing the ad for the SVH board game on television when I was younger. I never played it, but I was very obsessed with it because of the ad
