Fic beta needed (Maya/Sam)

I've just finished a fic that I started, believe it or not, in 2006. It was an absolute nightmare to write, for some reason - I literally worked on it continuously for all that time, though it's not even long (about 1500 words). It's from Maya's POV, which was a large part of the problem, really, because we're given so very little of her in canon.

Hi hmpf! I hope you're well? I couldn't believe it when I got the notification email and saw your name pop up! I'm still around, just not very active in fandom these days (long story short, I spend most of my free time writing -and trying to make a living from- writing original fiction. It's a work in very long progress! :-) I still have the urge to write fanfic once in a while, it's just hard to find the time to focus properly with all the other stuff I've got going on. And, I guess, to some extent the fandom has changed and is so quiet that it doesn't seem quite so urgent anymore...

But having said all that, I would be very happy to take a look at your fic -if I'm checking language then since I'm a native Brit, and at 1500 words, it shouldn't take me too long at all.

I have so many half-finished LoM fics... great show, still love it to bits!

OMGOMGOMG! Hello! :DDD Ahhhhh I still have your e-mail somewhere I think, is it still valid? Great that you're still writing (and original fic, too!!) - I've been kept super busy by working two jobs, those last four years, and thus my writing has slowed to an even slower crawl than usual, not that it ever went very quickly... but I haven't entirely stopped. It's just going super super slow.

(Incidentally, the fic we talked about at length all those years ago is still an ongoing concern! Though there's another one I may want to finish before really tackling it. Also, for efficiency's sake, I may end up melding it with another bunny... which might actually make it easier to write, but we'll see...)
