So yesterday, I sliced off the tip of my finger... but not all the way. So to prevent a total emotional meltdown, I stopped the bleeding, held down the flesh-flap with a bandaid, wrapped the whole damn thing with gauze & scotch tape, willed the pieces to grow back together, and didn't look at it again until today

Eww. I hope it heals ok. I did that a few years ago with pruning shears, and it regained feeling last year, so it does heal eventually!
