So I cant play my solo very well anymore.  I guess it's back to square one.

So the concert for my senior solo is February 12th.  I'll post it a couple more times.  But everyone's gotta come.  Do it.

So I guess all my hard work paid off.  They chose me as one of 4 senior soloists.  So that's pretty cool.  Evidentaly some people got letters and I didn't get mine yet.  Oh well.  I'll let you all know when the concert is when I find out myself.

So I still dont know who the senior soloists are.  Hmm...  Maybe tomorrow.

So it's 3 days before my solo and I'd have to say I'm feeling pretty good.  Last night I hung out with Brandon and Rachel.  It was supposed to be just Rachel, but then we went to rent and movie and they only had a DVD of what I wanted to see, and since I have no DVD, Brandon offered to see it at his house.  We watched Mr. 3000.  It was pretty funny ( Read more... )

So for LYS I'm doing "Carnival of Venice" by J.B. Arban for my senior solo tryout.  It's so insane.  If anyone gets a chance, download Carnival of Venice by Wynton Marsalis.  It's his recording of the song.  It's amazing.  I dont care if you like classical or not.  You will be impressed.
