I so understand this. We are watching Buffy from the beginning, but Matthew started on his own and then mentioned it. So I started watching with him at the beginning of Season 2, but I'm having to watch Season 1 on my own because somehow I feel like I've missed out by not watching it from the beginning. Of course, there are quite a few episodes I haven't seen because I didn't watch it when it was on. I started watching it in reruns, and it wasn't in order (or didn't start with the beginning or something weird), so this is my first time really watching it in order. So you see how I *had* to go back and watch the first season, right? :D
