we are- if we didn't have other people to interact with, i don't think we could survive. for example:
King John, the Norman king of England, wanted to see what language kids would speak if they never heard people. So, he isolated some babies, instructing their nurses never to talk to them, and never to touch them if they didn't have to... but he never found out. the babies died.
