So I just read someone's post about the French riots... (cough<3cough)
And it made me think a lot about life, death, and stupid people.
For a long time, it (stupidity) really bothered me...
Liberalism was first... I was always like "How could anybody think [] about []? You must be retarded!"
Then it was politics in general... and then people in my engineering class... the French... spelling... Europeans in general...
Gradually, I am noticing more stupidity in the world.
I am, in fact, approaching that point where I might venture to state my conclusion on the subject...
People are stupid.
PS: I should also note here that I am as well a person and I am as well stupid, as anyone (one in particular... <3xabunch), can tell you.
This being said, I would like to share some insight I've gained over thinking I am smarter than people for so many years:
It really doesn't matter.
You can't change the way people think about stuff, almost ever.
Never ever, if they don't want to change.
And thinking you're better than them will only make them hostile towards you; where would the point to that be?
People say I'm smart or whatever because I can do well on tests and recall lots of information at once after looking at it for a relatively short amount of time... but, lots of people can do lots and LOTS of things that I can't.
Like cook eggs and not make them taste like plastic wrap.
You know?
Anyway...
Sorry about last night.
Really really.
But... were we awesome or what?
I won't be there next week, so those of you who like softer stuff can take the earplugs out.
I'm going to an intelligent design thingamabobber instead.
Uhmuhmuhm and that is all.
