not so much sad. i haven't been feeling that. just feeling really aware of how what i do affects others, and how that affects me. aware of karma i guess.

Karma knows where you live.
I meditated on this recently...it's actually quite simple to manage - karma - all you have to do is think and act accoridng to how you want your future to be and according to how your past could have been. What you project comes back...so use each oppertunity (moment) to attract goodness.
